The deadline for the Lions Club Peace Poster Contest is Monday, October 24. Students should turn their entries in to Ms. McCormack in room 244.
Fall Concerts will be held on Monday, October 24 (choral) and Tuesday, October 25 (instrumental). Both concerts will take place at 7pm at James Monroe High School.

Girls’ Basketball has two home games this week – Tuesday, October 25, at 4:30pm (vs. Fluvanna) and Thursday, October 27, at 5:15pm (vs. Culpeper). The football team travels to Louisa on Thursday, October 27 for a 4:30pm game, and our field hockey team will participate in the Big Hit Tournament on Saturday, October 29.
Quarter I Science Benchmark Tests will be given on Thursday and Friday, October 27 and 28.
The James Farmer Scholars have a field trip on Thursday, October 27.
Parents are reminded that Great American fundraiser orders will be delivered on Thursday, October 27, and should be picked up between 2 and 6:30pm.
Students are reminded to wear blue for solidarity on the last Friday of Bullying Awareness Month! The culminating Unity Dance will be held after school on Friday, October 28, to celebrate our action plans and our efforts to end bullying. Listen for details on the morning announcements.
